Don - thanks for adding me as a friend. We have some mutual friends. They guys in Band X (not all of the new band, but all of the old band). I subbed playing drums with them a few times as well, but I know them from other stuff too. I will definately keep you in mind for sub work. Stay in touch. - Kevin
Hey Don,
Thanks for the kind words bro ! I just love being a musician so much, I thank god that I am able to do what I do. I am working hard with the GLORY HOUNDS , we are a variety band and have been together for the last 9 years now. Giging hard with them, still have plenty of time for family and a day job too. I guess having a day job makes me appreciate my music even more. I deliver babies by day and ROCK at night! Too funny huh?
Great to meet you, I have heard about your group Band X . Nice drum chair you have there, talk about relaxing ! Yeah baby ! I hope to meet you in person in the future too. All the best......yours in ROCK,
BOB ( Tewks )
Hi Don really haven't seen or heard from the others in quite some time. I know John has been playing keys and singing with Crystal & The Cruisers for quite a while. Last I heard Doug was in law school becoming a lawyer. I ran into Ron some time ago and was playing in a rock trio. I was with the original Blues Envy (w horn section) for about 4 years and had a regular house gig at the Firehouse Woodstock and played the circuit. Last band I was in was The Nightshades a blues band doing the BBQ circuit. Lately I've been teaching guitar lessons have a few students, and have a really good home recording studio both old school analog and digital fully equipped. Took a buyout from my corporate job 1.5 yrs. ago. I freelance with Lola Gulley's band. I just played up at Tony's in Roswell this past Sat. and have done a couple road gigs I'm always looking to gig. Check out my pics on the pro site and my space page. (link on the site). Great to hear from you. Lets hook up sometime and have a beer, play some or something. Take care, Frank
Yessir - I believe did meet back in the day. I'm sure you are having a blast playing with David and the crew. Good to get reconnected. Thanks for the note.
Don! how wonderful to cyber-see you here. i've been hustling along as always. Married now with a three year old daughter.
