Good to meet you to. I had actually met you before. I was an audio production volunteer at Northpoint for a little while.

Yeah- Luther called me and said he ran into somebody at Killer Creek-I finally figured out he was talking about you and Scott_ I think he helped himself to the piano there-what a son (you know - son-ic boom). Scott gave me the name of Roy D. Mercer last time I saw yall at NP- found him online- I think Roy needs to call George Lutherace (like liberace) sometime and tell him how sonic he is and whoop his a@#!!!

Hi Richard, Sorry to hear that your Dad passed, I remember him being so instrumental in saving the Fox Theater way back when! Say hi to Scott for me.

Hello Richard, I'm writing to say I'm sorry for your loss. Like I told someone recently: Tomorrow, worry about "tomorrow" and then the next day will come. I never know what to write in times like these but please know you have a big family, your own family plus a big family of musicians who care about you. Respectfully, Adam Mewherter

Hello my friend,

My deepest condolences on the loss of your father. I know that you love him very much and certainly life will not be the same without him around to counsel, chat with and see when you wanted. But I know you have many great memories of him that you will carry forever.

If I had one piece of advice it would be as Lewis said, "Grieve at your own pace." The loss of a loved one, particularly your father, is one of the toughest things you will go through. I lost my dad 3 years ago and even to this day find myself trying to dial his number to ask a question or hear his voice. Just know that a part of him lives forever in you and your kids.

If you need anything, just ask. You have my prayers.

Richard,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. No matter where you are in life, when a loved one leaves us, the heart is broken. Grieve at your on pace. Follow your heart. Remember time doesn't really heal the pain, but it will blurr it.

I'm using a G&L SB2, but I'm not real fond of the thin neck taper on it. Sounds great for a passive tone with the P/J config. And a 20th Stingray 5 with alnico's. Humbucker/single coil. But its 10lb's. I love the Eden stuff, currently using a markbass 121p with a genzbenz
neox112 ext. cab, at 25 lb's and the mark at 35lb's. Easy to move and loud.
I wish I had never gotten rid my 66 Pbass back in HSchool. Traded it for a Rick. Who knew?

I'm an Eden endorser these days... love 'em! Had a custom built 5 string Alembic when I was playing arenas. Sold it on eBay last Fall. Recently I'm reaching for my '89 Jap P-bass (DiMarzio) first. Going for more of a low-tech passive vibe.

What are you playing?

I'll still pissed about them boots you sold me -they fell apart the first week-I might have to woop you and your brother a#%es for that. Are you still at North Point at all ?
