- About Me
- I'm just a guy who plays drums as a way of life. I'm easy to get-along with, I'm punctual, and I never forget any pieces of my gear. I'm kinda like a Boy Scout in that way...! I have studied and played most of the viable styles, but sound the best doing pocket playing. I really dig on the back-beat stuff; Rock, Funk, Blues, and on occasion, Jazz/Latin. If you like knowing where 1 is and a steady time-flow, I'm your guy.
I play in a few bands now: Matthew Thomas 5tet, Vivian Golden, Phoenix For Saints, and Sunday Drive Bye. The first 2 are variety bands, the second 2 are original Rock projects. I do quite a bit of freelance work as well, but like most of us, could stand to fill out the calendar a bit more. I also have a teaching studio where I work with +/- 30 students/week.
