About Me

I'm a long time Atlanta guy, living in the Woodstock area. I play with a number of bands around town, and take advantage of quite a few freelance opportunities. So, if you are ever in need of a sax guy, look me up.

I'm also and avid educator, teaching Jazz Saxophone at Emory University and in private studios in Roswell, Marietta, and Woodstock.

My most passionate endeavor's in recent years include a series of educational jazz method books I pen for students with skills varying from beginning jazz to advanced. These books have been recognized with endorsements from folk like Joe Lovano, Randy Brecker, Jerry Bergonzi, Bobby Shew, John Fedchock, and others.the tunes on this page are from my most recent book, "Level Three; Jazz Etudes for Saxophone."
