About Me
Vocals, Keys, Key-Bass, Percussion. Genres include: R&B, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Reggae, Dance, Pop, etc...Back in the 80's is where it all began. Piano lessons, chorus, western regional selection, all-state selection & various bands etc... In the summer of 1987 I traveled to Australia, New Zealand & Hawaii with The National Band & Chorus. In the fall I was off to college at Western Connecticut State University for 4 years studying classical voice with Jane Stevens and jazz piano with Steven Ash. In 1988 I worked with The Five Satins a 50's group who had a hit with "In the still of the night". By college I had been in several rock bands in the northeast and was looking for other ways to express my creativity. Well, then in 1989 I joined a friend Ray Small and began work on "The Tournament" an original musical with a lot of promise. I spent the next three years performing, directing and acting in many versions of the show. By the time 1990 arrived I missed playing in rock bands. I joined long time friend John Bristow in X-EMPT an original/cover rock band playing venues throughout the Danbury, CT Area. We had a great time! We recorded some original material as well. Also, in 1990, I began my solo piano bar stint at a restaurant that I would be playing for 5 years, Rosy Tommorows in Danbury, CT. 1994 arrived and I decided to leave everything behind and move to Atlanta, GA where I currently reside. Being in Atlanta has been quite an experience with many ups and downs but throught it all I have grown musically, spiritually and have had many moments to treasure. Through the years I've had the great pleasure of playing and/or recording with: Bobby Brown, The Drifters, The Gap Band, Taylor Dayne, The Five Satins, The Platters, Night Ranger, Ace Frehley, Leslie West, The Coasters and many others. I continue to perform and record in the Atlanta area and am loving every minute of it!

Man, you've had quite a run at Roy's! Did they just discontinue or did they go out of biz? My band, Society Express is still hoppin', like I said it's a tough year for everyone but things are lookin' up. We're playing Chicago's a few times thru end of year cause it's in my neighborhood.
Seems like a lot of places in town are having live music, but then again a few stopped this week. Aquaknox discontinued, Ruffino's went down, KC BBQ canceled Elgin Wells this week. I'm not really on top of who's in who's rooms anymore.

You know what Kris, you are looking like Johnny Depp to me :-) :-)
Loved looking at your photo's, I'd like to see one of your child sometime :-) I'm managing to keep busy enough during this crisis. July was the slowest month so far but August is the busiest. I'm working all privates and retirement community. We played a couple restaurants this year just here and there--not too excited about doing a lot of that unless it's fun :-) You still at Roys????? OMG :-)
