About Me: I'm a professional drummer from Atlanta, GA. I currently perform with numerous acts in Atlanta playing all styles of music from Jazz to Metal. I play about 200 nights a year or more and love doing session work. I also enjoy teaching lessons, doing drum clinics and talking shop. I believe in working on chops for chops sake but personally enjoy the essential groove delivery when it comes to my playing style. The groove makes the booty shake...not the solo. I play with intense passion like every show is my last no matter the gig situation. I love meeting people at gigs and on the road. Hope to see you soon! Back at the Dixie Tavern tonight

Hey gang,
I'm performing with my good friends Andy Birdsall and Keith "Kdub" White at The Dixie Tavern in Marietta. Just some good friends playin some good tunes. We were the host band for the jam night I hosted up there for awhile. Please come out and hang with us.

"Birth" by Voices From The Shelter now on my page

I hope this finds you all well. I'm very excited about my new project "Voices From The Shelter." It is a collaboration between my musical brother Jacob Lawson and myself recorded organically at the Bomb Shelter studio in Woodstock, GA. All of the drumming is done in one take and it's truly a musical spiritual journey for me.
