I still make noise on my drum kit, hoping to find some group of people that I could fit in with to play with....I'm a HUGE smooth jazz fan, and its kind of tough finding people at my skill level who will do that kind of music. Nevertheless, I have fun banging away by myself and watching my 4 year old do it.

You doing well in your musical endeavors? It sure looks like things are going O.K. I'd love to see your band, so please be in touch and let me know when you are gigging.

I finally made my own drum kit. I had Tama (the kit I sold you), Ludwig, Slingerland, Gretsch, Sonor, Yamaha....I finally decided to build what I wanted. I've had them for 10 years now and I love them. Plus, it was fun to do! I've built a kit for someone else (he loved them! A Bonham kit) and several snare drums, even selling a couple of them to happy players. It keeps me "in it" a bit, and it's fun. I just don't get to play enough with other people! Ack!!

Lighting was low and the angles were too tight...I didn't want to block anyones view. We really enjoyed the evening.
I'll be there Sunday at Inman, of course I'll see you Saturday in B'mingham (or Hoover that is)
