About Me
I've been playing drums in and around ga for the past 16 years working corperate partys and clubs with so many different bands such as The Blast, the Brian Wilson band, Groovestreet, Moondance, and several different ensambles to get the gig done. My style of playing is solid and grooving stay in the pocket. I play covers like the records because I feel like theres no need to rewrite a song that is already a hit unless I'm hired to do so and gonna record it as new. I like all genres of music as long as it is real and a human is playing the parts, if we keep on playing and singing to tracks, we eventually won't need ourselfs. (think about it.) My influences range from so many players and are not all drummers. I play different with different players whether it be bass players or guitar players, it feels different. I do some studio work but mostly live settings and stay very busy. My wife is also a musician and she and I play together occasionally, she plays bass and also guitar.

Hey Greg,
Thanks for checking out my page and photos. Well, the drums in question are Rogers Holidays from 1968. We have a collection of them in the family....along with a Dynasonic snare.....groovy baby! They were originally Pink Champagne but my Dad re covered them back in the 70's......uuuggghhh to Marine Pearl. The snare is Chrome. That is why I love the Champagne colr so much, my Ludwigs are that color, I fell in love with it as a kid. I have been playing Ludwig for all my career though, except in the studio, I have used the Rogers......we have a 14 x 18 in bass drum that is a bitch as well as a 16 x 20 BD......Live I work with Classic and Super Classics........love um! But, I too have used Peal Exports as a work horse kit.....hey man, they are great drums too !
I really dig your gear as well...........great nostalgia there.......
My bother picked up the floor tom at a music store in Macon for $60 bucks, it looked like crap, but with just a little work it cleaned up nice.

If you don't have a gig this weekend, I am with the Glory Hounds at THE DIXIE TAVERN....love to meet you in person..................ROCK ON BROTHA !
