- About Me
- Hello folks! I am a 20+ year veteran of the music scene in our fair city and beyond. Some of the groups I have worked with include (but not limited to) are, Lou's Blues Revue, Tom Grose and The Varsity (after Scott), Mike Veal, Derek St. Holmes, Wilson Braswell Band, Tim Purcell & The Mustangs, Snakedoctors, Sammy Blue, Steve Taylor and many others. I also do a fair amount of studio work in and around the Southeast, mainly in the Gospel genre. I actually have a Dove award on my mantle courtesy of THE GREENES cd Glory Mountain (that and $1.75 will get you a cup of coffee at the Waffle House). I also consider myself a church musician working in houses of worship not only in metro Atlanta but in Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina. I also do a fair amount of programming drum loops as well as live percussion, playing and creating with the Zendrum and other noise makers. Currently working with a number of very cool projects-THE WILSON BRASWELL BAND, MARK ESKEW (REFLECTIONS OF ELVIS show....don't laugh, I work HARD on that gig!), OFF THE GRID (a duo with Geno LeSage) and The INSATIABLE STALLION BROS. I also am working as member of the Northside United Methodist Praise Band in Atlanta and I occasionally play at Metropolitan Church of God in Birmingham, AL. I also sub for my friend Jimmy Mouton at First Baptist Church Alpharetta when he is unable to be there....thanks Jimmy! I am also available for other live, church and studio work when I am not working with these great bands. Give me a shout!
Like many of you, all of my abilities and accolades pale in comparison to being a parent. I have 3 children, Bryan, Cody and Danielle. They are the reason I do what I do. Now, let's get out there and NETWORK. There is enough work for ALL of us.
