About Me
blues/rock/funk drummer born and raised in the North East. I put down my drums for a while and picked up a bass (two words: Marcus Miller) for a few years though nothing felt like getting behind a kit to me.

I was able to spend a few years attending Berklee and then headed South. After having two amazing kids I am just getting "musical" here in Atlanta.

I've played for a while with the Sammy Blue Band and and also did some stuff with Jackson Sneed .

Jackson, Dub City and I put together a quickie session Jackson named A Random Triad which is what you could call hip hop rock-www.myspace.com/arandomtriad

My personal Myspace is www.myspace.com/cbtull-some cool videos on there.

"What's the difference between a taxi & a drummer?
A taxi only has to carry 3 or 4 people at a time!"

Deep in the African jungle, a safari was camped for the night. In The darkness, distant drums began a relentless throbbing that continued Until dawn. The safari members were disturbed, but the guide reassured Them: "Drums good. When drums stop, very bad." Every night the drumming continued, and every night the guide reiterated, "Drums good. ... When drums stop, VERY bad." This continues for several days until one morning the drumming suddenly Stops and all the natives panic and run screaming. The man asks the guide what's the matter? The guide looking very frightened says: "When drums stop, VERY, VERY bad," he said. "Why is it bad?" asked a member of the safari Because when drums stop, bass solo begin!"

How many drummers does it take to screw in a light bulb? - 100...1 to screw in the light bulb and 99 to say how much better Neil Peart could Have done it.
Here's a link to the only tracks I have up right now...

Music Hall of Fame Awards

Good Morning all,

Just wanted to give a quick update on last nights ceremonies. I have a dear Berklee friend who techs for Bruce and Little Stevie-he sent Friend Feed updates until he had to work. It sounds like an amazing show-he said it was overwhelming to see the talent together that was on stage and they sounded surreal. For him to say that says A LOT! We were hoping that it would be live streamed but no-we'll all have to wait for it to be broadcast.

Looking forward to seeing what I read a… Continue

Just in case you have not heard about Reverbnation

Reverbnation is another great *free* way of getting you and/or your band out there for the public-you can add a player to some of the social sites like your Facebook page and it offers a bunch of tools to help promote.

Women in Blues 3 Festival (WIB 3)

This is a festival going on it's 3rd year after very successful WIB 1 and 2 events-Michele Siedman heads up this non-profit festival up in beautiful Wilmington NC. Awesome talent, great venue and fantastic PR. press and connections-Michele is on Facebook as well.

Please hit up Youtube or Google to check out all the buzz it has created. Of course our kick ass blues men are on stage as well though to be a performer the ladies must have written at least 90% of the material-you can check wit… Continue

"YOU" I finally posted a song on my page

Hi all,

For those of you that keep asking me when I'll put up a tune here you go....
Sort of hip-hop rock. Home mastered, recorded and mixed at Treesound Studios by accident and with the help of Travis (who works with Sevendust). "You" came out of a 30 minute jam Jackson and I did in my basement. Too cool when that stuff happens. I was able to play, co-write the music, help mix and produce-what a blast!!

Peace,
Elizabeth

Its always a treat to play with real players like that. I have always wanted to have a super group with 2 guitars bass keyboards and 2 drummers doing Allman Bros and funk music. The only problem would be finding a stage large enough..

Sorry sometimes my twisted sense of humor gets the best of me. I played a gig with Sammy a few months back and enjoyed the experience

I lived in Manhattan in a couple locations...34th and 2nd and then 85th and CPW. That was from '75-'86.
My wife and I then moved to Staten Island till '94 when we moved down here. We were unable to buy a home in which we would want to live in NYC. I visited a friend who had moved to Kennesaw and saw what you could buy here...we decided to make a life style change.

Right back at ya..........nice to hear from you. I am just having a ball ! Working in Helen this weekend.....I guess I will have to rough it in my favorite cabin in the woods, with a great view, indoor plumbing, kitchen and a shower with the BEST water pressure EVER ! LOL.........Ever been to Helen? it is a trip.....besides being a great little Austrian town, it is a great place to buy redneck ware ! Little daisey duke shorts with "cute butt"written across it and rebel flags on everything!
I hope you have a great weekend yourself......
What's up with WIB 3 ?
All the best to you.................Bob

Hi, Elizabeth,
Thanks for the add. It was great to meet you finally the other night. That was a fun jam. I do have music on my facebook page. It was not pro recorded --just a little MP3 recorder but ok all in all. George Price, Mike Levasseur and I were thinking of doing a trio a couple years back, as I've worked quite a bit with both of them. I think that my voice is better now, don't ask me why, as the other night was NOT a great example. However, the tunes that I have been doing lately, which need to laid down somewhere--(One for my Baby, Nobody Knows when you're Down and Out, among others) are really good. If I can find how to put music up here on this site, I'd be happy. I tend to be a bit techno-challenged. Anyway, take care. Hopefully, I'll see you again soon. Lori (roommate) says to say Hello.
peace and hugs,
Michael
