About Me

Began playing drums in 1964 . I have had the opportunity to play onstage with or open for : Greg Allman , Atlanta Rhythm Section , Robin Trower , Humble Pie , Marshall Tucker , Wet Willie , Savoy Brown , Kool and the Gang , Tony Orlando and Dawn , Chubby Checker , the Shirelles , Mothers Finest , Eric Quincy Tate , The Tams , and others during my 45 year career .

Influences: Buddy Rich , Ringo Starr , Butch Trucks , Jaimoe , and Donnie McCormick . Some bands I have played with : The Phantoms , Edifice Wrecks , Mogen David and The Grapes of Wrath , Wheatstone Mission , The Doke Brothers Band , Phaedra , The Channel Cats , The Sailcats , The Rockerz , The Laura Simon Band , The Woodys . went to Nashville to play the wedding of a fan that hired us. That was
great. I hadn't been to Nashville in a long time. We're playing Darwins
on the 21st and again in May. Mostly I'm working on my studio and not
paying much attention to gigging around town. Although, I'll soon be
trying to set up something once a month for our foundation group
the Georgia Legacy All Stars. But it's not a club band at all. The clubs
pretty much suck as far as crowds and pay. Too Bad. I'm mostly working on recording and the Georgia Legacy Foundation.
