I just installed a Kickport on my 24" Vistalite bass drum. Installation takes about 10 minutes and first thing I noticed was the rush of air coming out of the port seems to be a lot more than just a regular hole. I also noticed more low end sound ...

Yeah I'm affraid you'd need that many invites and still nobody would show. This is such an apathetic town when it comes to music and supporting each other! I've waited to respond to see if anyone would jump on board with you.

I believe I've played with Mike at another audition for a "Blues" band startup. Went nowhere. He builds real fancy guitars. Sounded great. Nice cat also. Those Nola amps sound great too. Heard them on a Myspace page I believe. Good tone with no BS knobs to fiddle with. Just the straight tone that I really dig.
Well, better get back to practicin my scales! Right, I don't even know what half the notes are!! Dweedle, sprang and flooong. Those are the notes I know. Theys good uns.

I went and played with some cats in Woodstock last Tuesday. Guess I didn't pass the audition cause I never heard back from them. Maybe I need lessons? Maybe it was my xray specs!!! Maybe I really don't care!!

We played our usual Fat Tuesday at Copeland's/cumberland and then
went to Nashville to play the wedding of a fan that hired us. That was
great. I hadn't been to Nashville in a long time. We're playing Darwins
on the 21st and again in May. Mostly I'm working on my studio and not
paying much attention to gigging around town. Although, I'll soon be
trying to set up something once a month for our foundation group
the Georgia Legacy All Stars. But it's not a club band at all. The clubs
pretty much suck as far as crowds and pay. Too Bad. I'm mostly working on recording and the Georgia Legacy Foundation.
