Profile Information

Drummer

I'm a drummer based in Nashville TN. I am currently working with country artist Aaron Tippin. When I'm not on the road doing that, I play gigs in Nashville or Atlanta, as well as pick up session work in both cities. I play all types of music with all types of people. Music I've played recently includes: Country/Jazz/Pop/Rock/Funk/Fusion/Singersongwriter/Big Band

I'm also have experience as a musical director, arranger, and educator.

I love working with all different types of musicians so if you're looking for someone, let me know!!!

I attended the University of North Texas as a jazz studies drum set major, and studied w/ the world renowned Ed Soph. While at UNT I played w/ many of the great ensembles, Lynn Seaton, Stefan Karlson, John Adams, Brian Piper and many other wonderful musicians and people.

I love playing music any chance I get. I am especially interested in any session work, so no matter what your budget is, I will work with you!!!

Ben,
Good to hear from you. Yes I know Jim White, he's a good friend. As you probably already know, Nashville is a very competitive place. Be prepared to come here and work at getting work!
Take care...

Yup, gonna be a jam, April 26, 08 in Vidalia, GA. Another Blues Angel Jam, @ Spidy's Web (Wes Chapman’s Home, 1709 Green Acres Dr, Vidalia, GA – Link below to MapQuest), on the golf course. This is an improvisational jam and we are trying to record every part, separate tracks. We are trying to discourage the playing of cover tunes, so if you like improv, come on, or just come and socialize. We are going to watch the Blue Angels fly that afternoon, and the jam will be from 5pm or so until there is no one left standing, or playing. Sunday too, so bring your bedding. We are planning on incorporating electric and acoustic drums, and recording everything separately. All artist welcome. Hoping to have some extraordinary players there. I hear the B3 is running;) There will be keys, and a PA. Bring your headphones, instruments, amps and beverages... some kinda meat to grill if you care to, oh and party hats:) And bring all the great players you want. Hope to see you there buddies:) further directions, regrets or questions 706-818-2194 or waynem@willowleaf.com
