Amp repair on the East side (Lilburn / Snellville area)

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a service center for amp repair out this way? My 66 Bassman is making some crackling sounds. After replacing a suspect cap and tube, it appears more detailed discrete component troubleshooting is needed...and I don't really want to make the time. I just want to play music through it. :-)

Thanks In Advance.

Yes - I don't want to post his number in a public forum, I can post his email address -
jamelectronics@bellsouth.net

I have know Jim for years, and he does all of my amp work, he is a authorized repair tech for Fender and others. I have had him work on Fender, Kustom, Biamp, Crybaby and a lot of other assorted things.

Good guy and no BS………

Thanks Gene. I will investigate and get back to the group if desired.

Gene,

You were right. Jim is very good. The bassman is working fine now.

He picks up around town at different music stores. I dropped off at the Music-Go-Round in Lilburn.

Thanks...I appreciate the referal!
