I Guess I have to Join....you've already got my fingers!

Those are my fingers on the bass frets picture shot from the bridge to the neck. Taken by my daughter four years ago for her college exams for art before going off to St Andrews University in Scotland for four years. Funny how these photos get around once you've put them on a website - I guess it shows to power of publicising yourself on the internet.

Anyone else got some unusual experiences of how the internet has helped or hindered?

PS - I'm knocked-out that you liked my daughter's photograph enough to want to use it. And no I'm not going to ask you to pay (haha).

That's actually pretty amazing. The original subject of a "clipart" style photo... and from across the ocean no less. That also shows that you'd better be real sure, if you post something on the internet.

Nice shot.

Sure does Tony. I guess there will be plenty of people ten years from now who'll be wishing that some of their photos or thoughts hadn't been published.

On the upside though it shows you can get any of your material, written, photographed or played, out there to the public. I feel that some of the video sites have reached such a high level of acceptance by my students, that if I don't post videos of lessons or tunes, my credibility will be called into question. (Well that's going to be my excuse for acting like an ego maniac on YouTube! haha)
