I saw that there were no posts here so I thought I might as well post the first..........

Has anyone had a positive or negative experience with this mixer they would like to share ?

For what it is, and it's designed application, it's not a bad choice. Has the same EQ section as the GL 2400 series. Good sounding HA, you just have to watch your gain structure closely. Any of us who know how to get good gain structure from the beginning, you will find that it is a little touchy on all A&H consoles. Like with any desk designed after british architecture, you will want to open up the HAs as much as possible, but sometimes, you may find yourself losing headroom on the initial gain when you try to set up your metering properly.

Chris,
Thanks for the reply. I posted that about 6 months ago and have purchased the mixer and had much experience with it since then. I am quite pleased. Thanks for all the helpful hints.
Hey, those pics of you on stage appear to be the club formerly known as TJs in Conyers. We played there a couple of times.

I always thought the AH mixer was just ducky and the sound man that ran it really knew his craft. COWBOY STAG

Having pro players with pro gear makes the job of running sound a lot easier. One would have to do something really wrong to corrupt notes coming from the keys of Cowboy Stag ! I think a good dose of tunage from the Cowboy's keys is good for a mixer. Like running carburetor cleaner through an engine. I think that mixer still has the Cowboy's name on the keys channel.
