Joe Gransden with Smokin' 16-Piece Big Band

Joe Gransden will be playing Monday, June 1, 2009 at Café 290 from 8:30pm-11:30pm. Admission is $5. With an inspiration from famous family musicians and friends, Joe Gransden is a renowned trumpeter and vocalist. Starting quickly out of high school to play for big bands such as Tommy Dorsey and Glen Miller, gave rise to working gigs with artist like Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Barry White, The Whispers, and Kenny G. Joe Gransden is one of those rare musicians that has it all. He is an incredible instrumentalist with the technique of a virtuoso, says saxophone player Kenny G. He is currently working on a smooth jazz CD with Kenny G. Joe has also performed numerous times in California for Clint Eastwood and the AT7T National Pro-Am.
